Organising icons in AddaCaption Desktop

Here’s a handy way of having access to icons for your designs when making up new captions

Hitting the above icon will open up the droppable items toolbar on the right (icons, watermarks, bands and custom elements)

There are four folders, by default at C:\TheCardProject\AddaCaption but you can update this to point to your own locations in settings:

Rather than scratch around for icons each time you need one, it’s a good idea to round up some in categories. I have two social media folders (one for mono icons and one for colour) – and by placing icons in these folders they will appear in the toolbar in AddaCaption Desktop, you can just drag and drop them onto your design!

This website is all about the stuff I get up to with the AddaCaption systems I’ve made

I love working on ways of getting text, captions and branding onto images easily so that you can get more visually appealing messages to your customers and to save you from having to be a designer too!

I’ve made desktop software which I use to manage all of my image templates, this software is available for free at It’s a bit buggy because it isn’t commercial software, but it might just help you out

There’s also a website where anybody can quickly add a caption to an image and edit the text:
